 Speech-Language Pathologist (Full Time)

GWA is looking to hire in January 2018 a Speech Language Pathologist with a B.S. in Communication to work with small groups of children to help them reach their IEP goals. This applicant must hold a current Speech-Language Pathologist license from the Utah State Office of Education and will be expected to adhere to the roles and responsibilities of an SLP as outlined in the USOE handbook. Experience working with elementary age children (K-8) with communication disorders and knowledge of managing behavioral difficulties is preferred. Substitute Teacher

George Washington Academy is currently looking for high quality substitute teachers for the 2017-18 school year. Substitute teaching is for grades K-8 and may also cover for other positions. Bachelor’s Degree preferred and experience working with children is a plus. If you are interested in substituting at GWA, See below for application. All substitutes are required to pass a BCI Background check at their own expense and go through GWA substitute training.

Facility Support Staff (Part time 29 hours per week)

George Washington Academy is currently looking to hire facility support staff for the 2017-18 school year to assist with cleaning and general maintenance, student supervision during lunch, recess, and afternoon carpool. This includes both inside and outside responsibilities. This is a part time position Monday – Thursday (10:30 am-4:00pm) and Friday (10:30 am -2:30 pm). Employment with George Washington Academy is ‘At-Will.’  Both the employee and GWA have the right to terminate the employment relationship at any time, for any reason or no reason at all, and is not intended to create nor is it to be construed to constitute a contract between GWA and any of its employees.  This ‘At-Will’ relationship may not be modified by any oral or implied agreement.  Any modification to the ‘At-Will’ relationship must be in writing and signed by the President of the GWA Board of Directors.
